Legendary Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen has announced the completion of his new album, 'Hell Or High Water'.

The album is set to drop in November and will feature four songs with Malmsteen on vocals.

This marks a significant departure from his traditional instrumental work.

Malmsteen recently spoke to The Metal Voice about the musical direction of the album, stating it is very much in line with his style.

He describes the instrumental passages as "really really nuts", but notes that this is not unusual for him.

The album has been specifically tailored to fit a vinyl record, consisting of nine tracks plus a bonus song.
