Metal legends Slipknot have revealed an extensive festival tour schedule across North America this summer, dubbed the 'Knotfest' trek.

The tour will kick off on June 16th in Omaha, Nebraska, and make stops in Chicago, Illinois; Detroit, Michigan; Cleveland, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Boston, Massachusetts; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Washington D.C.; Baltimore, Maryland; Atlanta, Georgia; Miami, Florida; and Houston, Texas.

Notably, Slipknot will be joined by a diverse lineup of supporting acts throughout the tour.

'We're thrilled to bring Knotfest to the people,' said frontman Corey Taylor in a statement.

'It's been too long since we've done this kind of run.' The band has promised a massive production with multiple stages and over 50 bands performing across the entire festival circuit.
