Sid Wilson, the band's longtime turntablist and known as #0 in SLIPKNOT, has been officially removed from the group.

A source close to SLIPKNOT confirmed to TMZ.com that Wilson was notified late Friday afternoon, July 31, 2026, of his permanent dismissal from the Iowa-based metal act.

The exact reason for his departure remains unclear.

Wilson has served as SLIPKNOT’s DJ since 1998, producing sound effects and background noises for the band’s music.

Since the 2000s, he has also performed under the name DJ Starscream, derived from the 'Transformers' character.

In 2008, during the 'All Hope Is Gone' tour, Wilson sustained injuries when he dove off the stage in Washington, shattering both of his heels.

In May 2022, Wilson and his then-fiancée Kelly Osbourne — daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne — announced on Instagram that they were expecting their first child together.

The couple began dating in 2022 after years of friendship, and in July 2025, they reportedly got engaged at BLACK SABBATH’s farewell show, just weeks before Ozzy Osbourne’s death.
