Lion's Share Releases New Album Inferno, Announces Tour Dates

Swedish heavy metal veterans Lion's Share have released their long-awaited new studio album Inferno today via Metalville on CD and vinyl.

The album marks the band's first full-length studio release in 17 years.

Guitarist Lars Chriss explains: “This album represents everything we love about heavy metal — the darkness, the melodies, the power and the drama." The track "Chain Child" embodies the classic heavy metal energy that runs throughout Inferno, drawing inspiration from legendary bands such as Saxon, Dio, and Iron Maiden.

Vocalist Nils Patrik Johansson says: “It’s a very visual story — gangs fighting in the shadows and this unstoppable character rising above them." Lion's Share has built a respected reputation within the international heavy metal scene, touring alongside legendary acts such as Motörhead, Dio, Saxon, Manowar, U.D.O., Iced Earth, Nevermore, and Dee Snider.

The band will soon return to the live stage with confirmed shows at Sweden Rock Festival and several Swedish live dates throughout 2026.
