Kamelot has confirmed the launch of their Dark Asylum World Tour, with a performance scheduled at Hard Rock Live Orlando on August 28. The tour follows the release of the band's new album, Dark Asylum, which is now available on multiple formats including gold, solid silver, and classic black vinyl editions. The album also features a 24-page booklet and special variants such as white splatter, liquid blood-filled, and marbled vinyl editions. A two-disc digipak includes an instrumental version of the album, alongside cassette and digital releases. The album was released through Napalm Records and is available via official links.
Dark Asylum presents a cinematic and atmospheric experience, blending orchestral grandeur with theatrical storytelling. The album features tracks including Ashen World, Sanctuary, and Beneath the Moon, with guest appearances from Tobias Sammet, Clémentine Delauney, Ignacia Fernández, and Rannveig Sif Sigurðardóttir. The music explores psychological themes of madness and transformation, culminating in a journey toward potential sanctuary.
The full tour itinerary is available at kamelot.com/tour/. The band’s lineup includes Tommy Karevik on vocals, Thomas Youngblood on guitars, Oliver Palotai on keyboards, Sean Tibbetts on bass, and Alex Landenburg on drums. The album is also available in CD digipak, cassette, and digital formats.
In a separate announcement, Bangalore Choir has released Rapid Fire Succession: On Target Part II on BraveWords Records. The release is promoted for its strong melodic hooks and energetic sound, designed to resonate with fans of the era's anthemic rock style.
