Album marketplace Discogs has released their highest selling records for May.
Iron Maiden's 1979 EP The Soundhouse Tapes tops the list as the fifth most valuable item sold.
This original copy of the 7” vinyl changed hands for a whopping $4,418.
According to Discogs, this EP was not only a rare collectible but also significant in the band's history.
Before gaining popularity and selling millions of Eddie merch items, Iron Maiden was a small club band from London.
They recorded four songs on New Year's Eve 1978 with a studio budget of just £200.
The demo tapes were later released as The Soundhouse Tapes EP after the studio wiped the masters.
The band's lineup included Steve Harris on bass, Dave Murray and Paul Cairns on guitars, Doug Sampson on drums, and Paul Di'Anno on vocals.
