Scotland's most extreme metal export, Hellripper, has finally released their fourth studio album Coronach worldwide via Century Media Records today.

This long-awaited release marks a milestone in the band's journey, as they continue to push the boundaries of blackened thrash metal.

Hellripper's mastermind, guitarist/vocalist James McBain, comments on Coronach: "Coronach is a personal exploration of Scottish Culture -- its music, literature, history & folklore.

The album is the culmination of 3 years of hard work and is a project that totally consumed me." With inspiration from various sources such as Venom, Mercyful Fate, Watain, Opeth, Manic Street Preachers, film scores, and traditional Scottish music, Coronach embodies everything the band stands for: mixing modern and old-school influences, past and present storytelling, and the dark side of Scottish history.

McBain aimed to offer an element of surprise in each track through experimentation and innovative songwriting.

The album's artwork was created by Adam Burke (Nightjar Illustration), who brings a new level of sophistication to Hellripper's visual identity.

Coronach boasts six original tracks: * "Hunderprest" * "Kinchyle (Goatkraft and Granite)" * "The Art of Resurrection" * "Baobhan Sith (Waltz of the Damned)" * "Blakk Satanik Fvkkstorm" * "Coronach" A lyric video for the song "Blakk Satanik Fvkkstorm" has been produced by Cloud Motion Design.

Hellripper has also announced a string of support shows for thrash metal legends Testament in Spain and France, as well as a European headline tour alongside Schizophrenia and Sarcator to promote Coronach.

The album is available on various formats, including jewelcase CD, digital album, and vinyl LPs with unique artwork designs.

Fans can order Coronach now through Hellripper's website or online music stores.

In related news, McBain has been working with his solo project VOICES OF EXTREME, releasing their first single "Stoned Babies" on BraveWords Records to critical acclaim."
