Erik Grönwall, former lead vocalist of SKID ROW, has announced his upcoming solo album "Bad Bones", due to be released on May 22.
The news comes after the Swedish singer's highly publicized departure from SKID ROW in January following a two-year stint with the band.,Grönwall has been open about his battle with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in March 2021, but has now found himself emerging into a new chapter of music and life.
A seven-minute mini-documentary titled "To Hell & Back" explores Grönwall's journey leading up to the release of his album.,Grönwall sang on four studio albums for H.E.A.T between 2012-2020 before exiting the group, and has also toured Europe and Japan with Michael Schenker.
His first fully original solo LP, "Bad Bones", promises a new perspective on life, drawing from his own personal experiences of battling cancer and emerging stronger.,The album was produced by Grönwall's long-time producer Jona Tee and promises to showcase the artist's growth as a songwriter, blending his rock roots with newfound maturity.
With Grönwall's powerhouse vocals now at their most personal, fans worldwide can eagerly anticipate what this release brings.,A tour supporting SKID ROW alongside lead vocalist Lzzy Hale is planned for late May 2024 to early June 2024 before Grönwall's exit from the group."
