The conversation delves into Kramer's impressive discography, which includes work with Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, David Bowie, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, the Kinks, Kiss, John Mellencamp, and Carlos Santana, among many others.

Kramer kicked off his career in 1962, working at Advision Studios before moving to Pye Studios, where he assisted on mobile recordings of classical works.

He later founded KPS Studios before it was acquired by Regent Sound, where the Rolling Stones had recorded their first album.

Kramer engineered two Beatles songs that appeared as a single and on Magical Mystery Tour— “All You Need Is Love” and “Baby, You’re a Rich Man”.

The engineer has collaborated with Hendrix on four albums released before his death in 1970 and has since served as co-producer of all Hendrix releases.

Kramer has also produced other notable projects, including the second Hendrix tribute album In From the Storm and Paul Rodgers' studio album Now.

He won a Grammy award for his audio production on the video for Jimi Hendrix’s live album Band of Gypsies in 1999.
