In a new interview with The Jeremy White Show, DEF LEPPARD guitarist Phil Collen discussed the alleged backstage confrontation between himself and Glenn Danzig at a European festival more than two decades ago.

According to Collen, the incident involved Vivian Campbell's ex-wife spilling soup on Danzig, leading to a heated exchange.

However, in contrast to previous reports that Def Leppard's Joe Elliott kicked Danzig in the rear end, Collen maintained it was just a verbal disagreement and offered Danzig a replacement soup.

This contradicts Danzig's statement calling their version of events "a total fabrication." The incident has been extensively discussed over the years, with both sides offering varying accounts.

Despite the controversy surrounding this incident, Phil Collen is known for his disciplined fitness routine that includes strength training, martial arts, and a vegan diet, which he has maintained for decades.

In contrast to Danzig's background in Jeet Kune Do, Collen has extensively studied kickboxing and Muay Thai.
