CORROSION OF CONFORMITY guitarist and founding member Woody Weatherman was asked by George Dionne of KNAC.COM if there are plans for the band to slow down after their upcoming tour in 2026.
Weatherman responded that there are no plans for the band to slow down, stating: "No, absolutely not.
I mean, as long as we make it past 2026, but I feel like we will; we're all in pretty good shape." He added that there's already stuff planned for their tour in 2027.
Weatherman was also asked about side projects, and he stated that he has too much work with CORROSION OF CONFORMITY to pursue other ventures.
CORROSION OF CONFORMITY's upcoming double album, 'Good God / Baad Man', is set for release on April 3 via Nuclear Blast.
The album was produced by Grammy Award winner Warren Riker and features cover art by artist Scott Guion.
It was recorded at various locations including Blak Shak Studios in Riffissippi, USA.
To promote their new album, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY will be heading out on a North American headlining tour this spring with support provided by WHORES and CROBOT.
The band's latest additions include bassist Bobby "Rock" Landgraf and drummer Nick Shabatura.
Regarding Shabatura's addition to the group, Weatherman stated that he was recommended by Charlie Benante of ANTHRAX and PANTERA, who knew Shabatura from his work with DOWN.
Weatherman also mentioned that the plan for Stanton Moore, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY's drummer on their latest album, was always for him to make the record with the band and then find someone to do the touring, and that they have found the perfect guy in Shabatura.
CORROSION OF CONFORMITY's first four albums left a permanent mark on headbangers, longhairs, and street punks everywhere.
Their debut album 'Eye For An Eye' was released in 1984, followed by their second album 'Animosity' in 1985.
The band then went on to release two more albums: 'Blind' in 1991 and 'Deliverance' in 1994.
