Former ARCH ENEMY vocalist Alissa White-Gluz has reteamed with guitarists Dani Sophia and Alyssa Day to form BLUE MEDUSA, releasing their second single ""Flying Monkey"".

The track is an intense, dark exploration of symbolism and psychological allegory, with White-Gluz delivering a powerful vocal performance.

Sophia's instrumentation highlights the dynamic chemistry within the band, while Day delivers a standout guitar solo performance on the song's bridge section.

The official music video was co-directed by White-Gluz and Vincente Cordero, featuring visual storytelling that matches the emotional weight of the lyrics.

White-Gluz wrote the lyrics and vocal melodies for ""Flying Monkey"", which is available now on all digital streaming platforms.

The single artwork was digitally painted by White-Gluz herself.

With ""Checkmate"" already generating excitement around BLUE MEDUSA's sonic identity, ""Flying Monkey"" pushes further, showcasing cinematic storytelling and emotionally provocative songwriting.

In a recent interview with Metal Hammer magazine, White-Gluz reflected on her departure from ARCH ENEMY after an 11-year tenure, saying it was both difficult and liberating to step into new creative endeavors.

The band's music has been praised for its intentional sonic and visual identity, making BLUE MEDUSA one of the most compelling new forces in modern heavy music.
